Eric van Beek: Capturing Beauty Through Photography
Hello, I’m Eric van Beek, a Dutch photographer from Soesterberg, the Netherlands. My creative journey unfolds primarily within the walls of the studio of the Keistad Foto Collectief in the Eemklooster in Amersfoort, but on occasion I also enjoy a photo shoot outside.
My Passion and Focus I love photography, it is my passion. Several years ago, I decided to focus on portrait and model photography in the studio, and more recently, I’ve explored the realm of Art Nude. My own work primarily revolves around free projects on a TFP (Time for Portfolio) basis (for more details, refer to ‘collaborations’).
Connecting with People People fascinate me, and I strive to capture their essence—their beauty, personality, and uniqueness. When I photograph, I try to connect with my models, seeking inspiration and mutual creativity. As a viewer, I want you to feel that connection—to understand something about the model and to be curious about their story.
Paid Shoots If you would like a private photoshoot I am regularly available. Ask about the rates!
Timeless Black-and-White Images My preferred medium is pure black-and-white photography. This classic approach lends a timeless and elegant quality to my images. But if the model wishes, I also add some creative shots in color. While I thrive in the controlled environment of the studio, I also venture outdoors or explore distinctive interiors and old buildings for location shoots.
Exhibitions and Competitions Whenever possible, I participate in exhibitions and regularly submit my work to photography competitions. April 10-14 2025 you can see my work at Galerie de Ploegh in Amersfoort (KunstPalet033).
