Capturing Beauty Through Photography
I’m Eric van Beek, a freelance studiophotographer from Soesterberg, specialized in portrait-, model- and boudoir/art-nude photography. I work from the studio of the Keistad Foto Collectief in the Eemklooster in Amersfoort, but I also enjoy a photo shoot on location or outside.
Connecting with People People fascinate me, and I strive to capture their essence—their beauty, personality, and uniqueness. When I photograph, I try to connect with my models, seeking inspiration and mutual creativity. As a viewer, I want you to feel that connection—to understand something about the model and to be curious about their story.
Timeless Black-and-White Images My preferred medium is pure black-and-white photography. This classic approach lends a timeless and elegant quality to my images. However over time I learned to appreciate creative shots in color too.
Exhibitions and Competitions Whenever possible, I participate in photography competitions and exhibitions, for instance in 2024 at Galerie de Ploegh and in 2025 at Ateliers Charlotte de Bourbon as part of the annual art fair 'KunstPalet033'. My work is currently exhibited and sold in galerieRIETVELD (Zonnehof 4a, Amersfoort). I am regularly on-site, you are more then welcome for a free visit on Thursday-Sunday between 12.00-17.00h. You will also find work of other local artists. If you are interested in an art print of my work please send me an email. Prices range from 75 to 595 euro, depending on the size of the print and finishing.
As a freelance photographer and an artist I do both paid private sessions and Time for Portfolio (TFP) collaborations. Below you can see the options.
Commissioned work - private session
If you want to experience a professional photoshoot and have beautiful artistic pictures for yourself - for instance of a boudoir or business shoot - you can book a private session. Your investment depends on the duration of the shoot and the number of pictures you want. Some examples:
Small: 1 hour, 5 edited high-resolution pictures: 159 euro
Medium: 2 hours, 10 edited high-resolution pictures: 269 euro
Large: 3 hours, 20 edited high-resolution pictures: 395 euro
Additional edited pictures can be selected for 9,50 euro each.
If you are a business customer I am happy to create a tailored proposal that includes the free commercial use of my pictures.
Free work - TFP collaborations
For my own artistic portfolio, I am always looking for creative collaborations with inspiring models. For me, it is not important whether you are a professional model or a beginner, or if you are 25 or 55 years old. More important are appearance, personality, pleasure in posing, creativity etc. If you think you fit in with my photographic work, send me a message with your details and a few photos of yourself. You will have the opportunity to get some unique photographs for free. Of course we discuss upfront what type of photographs we will shoot.
TFP means that both of us work for free. So also your travel expenses are at your own expense. However I will be happy to pick you up from Amersfoort Central Station.
As compensation for posing, I will send you - usually within two days of the shoot - all photos in low resolution jpg format. These have not yet been edited and are not intended for further use. They are purely for selection. You may then choose 10 and I will fully edit those - usually within two weeks - and send them digitally for use on your socials etc.
Both of us may freely use the photos, for example on website, Instagram, exhibitions, photo competitions, own PR and the like. When the photos are used by the model, the photographer's name should always be mentioned (or 'Betaphoto.nl' tagged in Facebook, Instagram etc). Except for boudoir/artistic nudes, I will always do the same. We record these agreements in a 'Model Release Form' at the beginning of the shoot.
